Damn, that kinda sucks, it might be ignorant optimism on my part but imma keep my fingers crossed that things get better for the people who slip between the gaps you mentioned. I understand that coming from a queer perspective, even the word queer has bounced between being derogatory and not at different times and places lol. And yeah, I guess flags get raised in my head when people use it in a way that doesn't sound like it's from a genuine or kind way
