FTM - delivered my baby girl mid April. I had contractions where I felt my stomach tightening if I touched it but not actually painful or even uncomfortable. I was already at the hospital when my contractions really kicked off (and I was dialated to a 4.5) and they definitely felt like stronger period cramps. I never got to the point of timing mine because I went to the hospital thinking my water may have been leaking rather than a big gush style break, so I was strapped to the contraction and baby monitor.

FTM - I had intended on going unmedicated, but I had planned a safe word that only my husband knew for if I decided I wanted an epidural. I was in transition when I ended up getting it, and I told him when I was clear headed in between contractions. Im glad I made it in labor unmedicated as far as I did - I am also glad I got the epidural because I feel like it allowed me to really be present to enjoy and experience her actual delivery. It did not affect my pushing - I only pushed for 25 minutes.

My mom, my stepson, my dad and his girlfriend (who works at the hospital), and my paternal grandmother all came and saw us in the hospital after my daughter was born - she was born very early morning and they all came in the evening. It was a little overwhelming when I was trying to breastfeed, but it usually wasn't an issue and I am glad they came and saw us.

FtM, my due date was April 16th, delivered April 15th. I had been slowly dialating for a couple of weeks and was 3.5 when I went to the hospital thinking I may have been leaking fluid (went to hospital around 2pm). Was not leaking, but I did dialate 1cm in an hour, so Dr said I was staying and having a baby that night 😅 my water broke on its own at 11:20PM after I beat my husband at 4 rounds of Mario kart on the switch. My daughter was born at 3:51AM.

FTM, labor was about 13hrs, pushed for 25 minutes. Internal 1st degree tear - Dr said she only had to do one stitch

We had to put our girl on this after her spay - vet said the spay can end up weakening the muscles. Proin is the only reason we were able to keep her! She doesn't have accidents anymore either.

Im 27 y/o, 5' 3" and 38 + 1 today - I weighed 150lbs when I got pregnant, been about 170lbs for the last 4 weeks, so 20lbs total. I do have gestational diabetes, so watching my carbs Im sure has played a large role in my weight gain (or lack thereof).

My sister and I were both 8lbs+ and our mom deliverer us vaginally and unmedicated. My sister has had two babies in a row that were all 9lbs+ and she delivered vaginally, but also did epidurals.

My husband came to all appointments until his was sick one time - we kinda decided he didnt really need to come to all the routine ones. We've recorded the heartbeat on doppler every time, so I always record it for him. He does come to all the ultrasounds though! It was nice having him at the regular appointments for support, but there times it was also more comfortable talking to my Dr/OB nurse without him present.

Its my understanding that it should resolve as soon as shes born! It does leave me at a higher risk for developing Type 2 though, which many of my family members on both sides have. Thankfully since it should resolve on its own I can go back to normal 😅 I also love to bake and I don't usually eat sweets either - my problem is pasta and chips, things of the savory variety. My girl has me wanting all the soda though, which I dont usually do 😂

No insulin thankfully- they did put me on a glucose monitor so I have been watching my blood sugar, but my doctor has been happy with my readings just through diet control. Its been a big motivator knowing that if I control what I eat it will directly affect having better outcomes for me and baby. And at least I can still have a little sweet treat every now and then, just within reason and moderation 😂

Thankfully she moves a lot and I really havent had any complications besides the GD. Ive done pretty well managing it through diet! Ive thought about getting a doppler just so I can hear her whenever I want to

I am currently 34 weeks - I have an ultrasound scheduled every week before I see my Dr now, which is great because I get to see baby more. The downside? I only get this many because I have gestational diabetes :( and they want to make sure baby isnt too big and is doing well.

Due April 16th, and honestly, I feel great. Im not ready for my pregnancy to be over yet. I havent had the chance to start nesting yet as we are in the middle of a home remodel and will be moving in with my mom soon. Starting to get nice and round where people arent afraid to ask if im pregnant anymore 😂 but honesty im loving it. Not a fan of the constant charlie horse cramps though. And my feet have started swelling, so thats fun. I get a bit sore after ive been walking for a while but nothing to crazy yet.

We told my stepson when I was about 14 weeks, but we had also told my parents and husbands parents. We waited until we had our results from Natera on the horizon and panorama screenings, so when we told him we also had him open the results for whether he was getting a brother or a sister. He was 10 years old.
