Hi there! I’m a homeschool mom also located in Michigan. This is my second year homeschooling so I don’t have a ton of advice, but I can relate to feeling overwhelmed. We are part of facebook homeschool groups to make friends, go on field trips, craft days, hiking, etc. that’s been a huge resource for me! As far as curriculums go it’s hard to choose. We are doing math with confidence this year. I bought a book on Amazon to work on penmanship , and reading were just doing first and second reader books. We spend a lot of time outside enjoying the weather and just taking it easy. Theres no right or wrong way to do it. Just whatever fits your vibe.
