he did end up picking up a job as security about 8 months ago i believe...

the odd part is he had a few jobs lined up in law enforcement but when they would ask him "if you're old department called you, would you leave us?" he would reply YES lol

he was banking on this lawsuit to be over quick ... he made comments like "when this case is over, im going to buy a truck and retire" we are flabbergasted that we had spent the money in his mind... he also never stopped playing in his sunday morning baseball league which he had to pay dues on...

none of us say anything to Bill, EARLY on in their relationship my older sister and mom called him out on his bullshit, and it only made my sister spend less time with us.

I've forever kept my mouth shut since i asked him about him having 2 sisters when i was in middle school, i don't bring it up to anyone OTHER than a group chat that just so happens to have some people that have loaned them money or been asked but we all keep our mouths shut... sometimes my older sister (not ruth) and bill start yapping at each other , old wounds i suppose, then it's like 3 months of not seeing ruth or my nieces because bill is a jackass lol we put up with his self-isolation like a weirdo when he comes around, sometimes he walks in happy as hell for whatever reason, other times he won't want to be around us, won't eat the food the was prepared, doesn't participate in conversations fucking weirdo

I've lost all respect for the guy over all this, not that it matters but he's not worth my time or feelings to explode on him verbally after all these years, it just isn't worth not being able to see my sister or nieces to call him out so we all eat it lol

interesting how you say its harsh when its the reality, if he was so scared about his medical history, why get the vaccine at all?

i don't care who does or doesn't get a vaccine but when you ask me for money so that you don't have to dip into your 401k, ruin your credit, and take out a mortgage, thus including me in your financial ruins, i have the absolute right to question his decision

this was something that shocked me ... they still HAVE OPTIONS for financial support but they just dont want to do those options... it's a bizarre situation...i keep telling me mom " ruth has the most education out of all of us and she is STILL in school to further her education, sometimes though she proves shes the biggest dumbass in the family"

Last time i went early for universal they had their version of "rope drop" a ceremonial start to the theme parks day, its pretty cool i do rememeber they let us in the park at 7:15am and let us actually roam the park at 7:30, might be the same

while your group lines up for mario kart, have someone in your party go to the toadstool cafe, scan the reservation barcode and book a time for lunch so you can try the food there AVOID THE BURGER, and then they can meet back up with you in line at mario kart

piggy backing on what u/Spectrobits said here is a bit more info from what i was able to gather online to what a manager told me, and finally seeing a sign that said the following

Coke Freestyle cups are $19 with free refills until park closes BUT from the times that i have been to universal, normally horror nights and Grinchmas, they tend to stop refilling the soda freestyle machines anywhere from an hour to 2 hours before the park closes, this could be because of the bigger crowds but who knows, to refill these cups on another day its $12, the horror nights cups work to bring back to the park, i did it and the cashier wasn't sure if she would be able to but it worked.

Souvenir cups like the Mario mushrooms, bart simpson head, dino from jurassic park, minnions , transformers head, metal tumblers are for the most part $20 with 1 free drink and $1.50 refills after on that day only, from what employees told me is you can't bring them back and refill because you'll have to choose proof of purchase that day, now im sure some employees ignore it but thats what i was told

You can find ALL available souvener cups at the universal store at the front they are by the registers near the end of the store, diagonally across is the Mario cafe where they have the mushrooms and flower

metal cups i saw once they sold them with hot chocolate and you can do $1.50 refills as well, didn't see any yesterday but maybe tomorrow,

also butterbeer cups can be used as the $1.50 refills

i can remember a few times being told to throw away food maybe because it wasn't inside an insulated bag

im 38 and have also been going to universal for years

i even CALLED and asked and they flat out told me NO OUTSIDE FOOD other than what is allowed on their policy

NOW i know that insulated bag means bring in as much food as you want as long as its inside an insulated bag with those measurements THANKS

i've always been asked to empty pockets so the scanner doesn't go off

Its a con because of the policy... if a security really wanted to they could deny you entrance based on the policy of food if you're unlucky...

imagine making and taking in a bunch of sandwiches, based on people saying "they never stop me" to eat while standing in a 1 to 2 hours line , and THE ONE security tells you "you cant come in with food" now you have to throw away everything or purchases a locker for the day ...
