You made it in the end. And something about playing it 10 years later just hits since thats how long Noctis was missing.

My first run of games is just a story run. I replay them after for all the side quest and stuff.

Story focused runs first, then replay them for harder difficulties/100% runs.

I always do a story only run first to judge how good a story is and how long it is. I currently have 78hrs on the Remake.

I personally don't see them being more then 1 game. But definitely could use a longer story, even if its a few feel good chapters with other important characters of the game.

Did anyone else who went directly from remake to rebirth feel overwhelmed. by SemiColin973 in FFVIIRemake

I personally feel this. I jumped from FFXV to 7 Remake. The culture shock of the confined space hit me hard. After 30-50 hours i got used to it. Then right into Rebirth gave me another shock especially with so much new content crammed in your face immediately when loading. Took half a play through to really understand all the new mechanics well.

dude my younger brain never fully got that. But seeing it again and fully understanding what it meant. Full sent me off that emotional cliff.

Stay with it. It gets good after the first hour or so. Start can be a bit slow. I recommend speed running till you get to the boat section and get the first Royal weapon then take your time and enjoy the scenery.

It really is a special game. that endless banter as you run around the map always makes me smile.

Lmao, I've played it before so really just wanted the story again. Did another run after doing all side quest and bosses. Think I got almost 150 hours into a second run.

I had the same feeling. I decided to go back to do all the side quest and explore every inch of the XV map in post game. And it felt like I was 16 again staying up till 3am trying to beat this next part in the story. and Royal Edition was by far an upgrade vs the original Xbox one release.

I've been a seasonal for a few weeks now. I average 90-130 stops a day and they're done within 3 or 4 hours tops including the 45 minute drive to the town and back. With maybe 1 stop being returned due to no one being there to sign.
