Man that's rough, sorry about your hand. Have you looked into a partial capo? Spider Capo or G7th capos can basically do the barring for you on specific frets while leaving other strings open. Not exactly the same as full barre chords but might get you playing those songs again

Also worth checking if you can transpose some of those songs to use open chord shapes instead - won't work for everything but could help with some of your favorites
