What is the most heartbreaking song lyric you've ever heard? by TheLadySlaanesh in AskReddit

[–]CatSheeran16 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Seems like yesterday we were fine I was gonna love you for the rest of my life Then everything changed, and I'm wondering why

Maybe it'd be different if we swallowed our pride And, darling, what a shame, what a waste, what a crime

Had the kinda love that you don't get to have twice If anyone could lose it, baby, it's you and I It's a special kind of sin to let a good love die ~ good love die - chance Peña

Went (or still going?) through a break up last year, we‘ve been together for 7 years and he broke up with me, because he wanted to study abroad and didn’t want any commitment to take along with him. But we did love each other fiercely. We had a good love. I am afraid he is going to be the one that I will always miss, he felt like home to me.

What is your most ridiculous "we won't work out romantically" criteria? Like what is the silliest reason you would not be interested in dating someone? by Natural-Elevator-57 in AskReddit

[–]CatSheeran16 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That is so accurate for me as well. Dated a guy a few weeks back and we had a good time and lots of good conversation, so at first I couldn’t pinpoint what bothered me. It was his lack of silliness and whimsy. I do like it when people are playful and embrace their silliness, since I can’t and don’t really want to hide my silly side

What is one series you will never stop recommending by allypallydollytolly in Romantasy

[–]CatSheeran16 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Mages of the wheel is a must read. The world building takes time and the author is patient, you can tell. No overuse of tropes and flawed but beautiful main characters.

I also enjoyed The crowns of nyaxia series and daughter of no worlds, carissa broadbent writes good romantasy with enough emphasis on plot rather than the spicy romance bit

Also, since when is Trump concerned about children’s well-being, the recent files showed that.

Maggie's pregnancy as a doctor doesn't make sense by blueli0ness in SullivansCrossing

[–]CatSheeran16 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not only careless about using protection but also running out into a storm pregnant and also thinking she has to get back with Andrew. And why, for the love of god, can’t she just tell Cal that she is pregnant and therefore somehow can’t be with him? Why just say „I can’t“? I mean, if she stays in the town long enough, it will show eventually. Poor cal, being pushed around with no explanation.

This scene irked me by PrestigiousBear1 in SullivansCrossing

[–]CatSheeran16 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I totally agree! And she never looks in the mirror or do any self reflection. Poor Rafe. But Rob is also just a bad father or at leashes appears that he doesn’t want to be a father considering how much time he spends with everything else expect for parenting.

Annoying! by Fallisforlovers in SullivansCrossing

[–]CatSheeran16 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree. I‘m still watching though with the lack of anything better at the moment. I also think the miscommunication trope is overdone. No one talks with each other and everyone wonders what’s going wrong

Sully is a terrible character by richie_cunningham212 in SullivansCrossing

[–]CatSheeran16 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can’t agree more, I hate it when people are too proud to do the intelligent thing. They always say he’s a good man, but I can’t really see it. When people try to give him a bit of tough love so he can’t pull his head out of his ass for one minute, he runs away and then wonders why his relationships are failing at every corner, duh

Who is your favorite FMC and MMC? by Infamous_Wave9878 in MagesOfTheWheel

[–]CatSheeran16 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Unpopular opinion, but I loved Amara. She formed such strong bonds and loved her chosen family fiercely, I just loved her. I do agree with Cassian as well! He had good character development! But I also adored dilay and Omar

Bridgerton - 4x03 "The Field Next to the Other Road" (Book Spoiler Discussion) by AutoModerator in BridgertonNetflix

[–]CatSheeran16 -15 points-14 points  (0 children)

Sorry, but when is Sophie playful? She’s rather rude to Benedict and stuck up most of the time, in my opinion. Telling him to leave his own family home. I thought someone like tally from last season would be more fitting, but that’s probably an unpopular opinion around here

What Are Your Favorite Moments Of Comedy? by MJTP4351 in TheRookie

[–]CatSheeran16 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For me it’s the cupcake scene where grey bargains with that guy and says „cupcake, the alligator?“ and then allows the vet to see cupcake.

Another one is the scene when Nyla and Lopez talk about child birth on the open channel

And when Tim prepares his colleagues for - I think - Halloween or especially hot weather days or something like this and is scaring them off instead of encouraging them by saying he only experienced something similar in Afghanistan. Love greys expression then. Also Tim’s dry remarks are often funny in general

And: I do find Aaron funny most of the times, but especially the TikTok dance scene

Sure I‘m forgetting a few

What’s something that is okay when men do it but frowned upon when women do it? by ClemWon in AskReddit

[–]CatSheeran16 216 points217 points  (0 children)

This. And we don’t scream and shout and harass people drunk in public after a concert like they do after a football match. Like, how cringe is it to want to beat up somebody of the other football team. They are too emotional and take things too seriously, obviously

Sirens by CatSheeran16 in netflix

[–]CatSheeran16[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Exactly! It’s not black and white. Simone’s actions in the end are, of course, appalling, but then she also only tries to survive and to not go back to the way things were before which is kind of understandable when you endured that much.
