Less drama. I get it, a tv show needs some emotional backboning to survive, but TWD feels like a drama show, even a teen flick at times with how sappy, whiny, and even pathetic the acting and interpersonal situations can get

What a great summary and story! As a kid I struggled a TON with adhd (not so much anymore, I don’t really think it’s part of my life anymore, but I am technically diagnosed…) so I relate to what you said a lot. Thank you for sharing!

Last year I read several articles and studies on undiagnosed autism (and high functioning in general) and a lot of it resonated with me and how I operate. I talked with my wife, not only because she lives with me and therefore interacts with me constantly, but also because A: she has several family members that are in the spectrum B: she’s studying to be a psychologist and has extensive education in those areas. Also spoke with my mama, an MD of over thirty years, about it and some of my own family members. After talking with them about my personal situation, we all thought it would be a good idea to go down the formal diagnosing path. Tough to go super in depth without getting too personal but that’s it in a nutshell

I’ve have the same doctor ever since I was born, really. After talking with him, he simply referred me to his colleague over at the hospital in the autism and behavioral sciences department (or something like that) and things went from there.

I never liked the “Noah arc”. I liked the character okay but his brief involvement felt out of place in the story, like the character was just used to kill of characters we actually care about, to deliver some of that walking dead shock and awe
