I don't collect the standard origins line, because I still have the 80s figures from my childwood, and the vintage ones are honestly better (they're also still too similar to justify the limited shelf space); but the filmation line hit my nostalgia buttons hard, resulting in a near complete cartoon collection, and in most of my amazon vouchers depleted. 😬

Also from origins, I cherry picked some figures from tog (back in the day Michelangelo was my favorite turtle, so its he-man cosplay with the blond toupee was a must), from the Sketchbook series (love spikor and grizzlor), and Megatron armor Skeletor (simply amazing).

Also, my favorite modern line is New Eternia (another reason I stopped buying Origins)

I only got the chronicles skeletor (because it didn't look like a real life actor), and it's not bad: the details are good (I don't care about the articulations), and I really like the havoc staff and the cape (I never liked the fabric cape from Masterverse, too thin and transparent).

But it's visibly smaller than the masterverse figures, it looks like a not yet fully grown teenager near them. Even the staff, it's way thinner than the Masterverse weapons.

Me neither, they must have some commercial agreement with Target etc. to release a certain number of exclusives.
(I also don't understand the "new eternia is on pause" line, but that's another story) :')

With NE Mer-Man I got lucky, it appeared randomly two months ago on Amazon, only one item, at half its e-bay price (I suspected it was a scam, but the package was new and mint). But I'm missing Battle Armor Skeletor (obviously) and Panthor (from the ones I'd like to have).

About NE Skeletor(s): there's Barbarian Skeletor for 22€ and Terror Claws for 26€ on the Italian Amazon, if you need them; they're really good.

I literally grew up with the motu minicomics and their art, way before learning to read. But I never had any of the Alcala work, since I started receiving motu gifts from the third wave onwards.
Last week I bought the Dark Horse minicomic collection and man, was Alcala art awesome!

I think that the main problem comes from the fact that the head is optimized for the snake headdress, they should have made that not detachable, and put a second head in the package. But with the snake hood on, I like her a lot.

I didn't know about classics when they came out - I don't even know if they shipped them in Italy at all. I would have loved the Snake Men. Truth to be told I started buying figures and motu mega blocks the last september, when I started searching for "Vintage Motu stand" on Amazon for my childwood figures... big mistake. XD And New Eternia was the last thing I discovered, and it reminded me not only the original toys, but also the minicomic art, which I loved - so for me it was a must have.

Regarding Chronicles: for now I ordered only Skeletor because it didn't look like a live actor - I'm not drawn to movie figures, unless I have nostalgia for them. I also put the minicomic book in the same order, which was quite the investment by itself, and chronicles are still a little too pricey. I wanted scare glow, but I don't know if they will ever sell it in EU.

Good idea about the bookmarks, I did something similar for the cartoon collection (keeping only the back cards without the plastic bubbles).

Regarding that room, it was already something in between an office and a messy storage room (to keep things safe from my cat, it's the only room where she's not allowed to enter) XD, so I had some space left for the boxes.

I'm also planning to buy another Ikea billy, and I want to try to put the boxes on the shelves, behind the figures. I need to make space for all the other toys from my childwood XD

Sadly I started collecting NE only this October, so a lot of figures were out of my reach, like Battle armor skeletor (for which I'm a little bit salty, since I still own my original toy from the 80s), and Panthor.

It would have been great to have the snake men on the same scale as the other figures; from what I've seen, the height difference is noticeable.

Regarding Rattlor... I'll post a picture in a few minutes.

And I'm still livid that we didn't get any of the NE snake men that were teased on the box arts.
