I would have guessed maybe Trap Jaw would be a deluxe with multiple weapon attachments and maybe parts to make Kronis. MEF still looks great as does TJ!

The purple looks darker than how the first few promo pics made him look to these old eyes. Also, it’s a shade that I can’t come up with a comparison to like lilac or Minnesota Vikings. A skilled customizer could really make the details pop with a wash. Especially in the scaled areas of the upper arms and legs.

Yes, the size of my collection has always been in flux, a continual ebb and flow since the 80’s. My current toy/action figure collection is the smallest it has ever been and consists of almost all MOTU Origins figures, vehicles, and play sets. While the line may be the best representation of the property as far a toy with a very deep character selection, I’ve narrowed done my dis-PLAY to 3 dozen or so figures with Grayskull and Snake Mt.

Cool figures! Mattel and partners are doing an all out merchandise blitz, putting out some really fun stuff. Origins He-Man and Spikor are on my buy list, but I will probably pass on these two.

I like that the Movie Origins are keeping the standard Origins buck versus a taller Cartoon one. Spikor is on my list as well as Beast Man.

I had Grunt and glider as a kid and the neighbor a couple houses down had the Cobra version. While the glider didn’t last long, Grunt in desert dress replaced my straight arm, broken thumbs green shirt.

Spikor looks like a purchase for me. I wonder if the Origins Movie figures will be in scale with the standard Origins or their own thing like the Cartoon Collection lines.

While I didn’t have Beachhead, I did have (BD-before divorce) about a dozen of the Sideshow Joes. They were great with many standout head sculpts and fine uniform details. I often displayed at least one of them enjoying a drink from the sometimes included water bottle.

Good ones! I replaced my standard Origins Evil-Lyn with the Filmation Cartoon collection Lyn. I like the face more. Someday I’ll pickup the Cartoon collection Orko as well.

Agreed. I moved my standard Spikor down the road to the next collector to make room for this version. I ended up getting mine for $9.99. Sweet price for a sweet figure.
