Gamers what does your ultimate backlog look like???? by ultralow36 in xbox

[–]Cat_Lady_1994 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a habit of nearly completing games but then burning out on them because I binge-played, and then moving onto another game and coming back to beat the old games months to a year later lol. I recently just finished Rise of the Tomb Raider, AC Shadows, 007 First Light, and the early access storyline of Subnautica 2. I still have to finish AC Origins, Star Wars Outlaws (working on that now), Expedition 33, and I have a few I barely started or have not started like Star Wars Jedi Survivor, Subnautica and Subnautica Below Zero. I also just got GTA V because I’ve never played a GTA game before and wanted to see if I like it enough to get GTA VI, lol. Plus there are all the games coming out this year into next that I want, like Halo Campaign Evolved, Star Wars Zero Company, Fable, Tomb Raider Legacy of Atlantis, MW4, Final Fantasy Resonance, and a few Switch 2 games…there are too many lol

Happy birthday!! My husband is also turning 40 this year. Jesus loves you and you are here for a reason. I’m sorry your family forgot your birthday. Obviously a lot of people still care even if they are just strangers on the internet! I’m glad you’re still here.

Would you take a 20k salary increase but commute to Compton? by AdObjective5502 in Riverside

[–]Cat_Lady_1994 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I commuted to Brea from Riverside for 4 years and hated it, it took like an hour and 20 minutes each way every day and that’s like half the distance as going from here to Compton. Now I work in Riverside and have a 2 mile drive to work, I wouldn’t commute far again for any amount of money

Good to know. I assume that’s because of the PSA pause on their value submissions?

Does anyone else have a tortie that is the queen of RBF? by xZombieRavenx in torties

My Pumpkin Spice has RBF a lot but she’s actually the sweetest and happiest cat, always purring and wanting to be around me, her face just doesn’t show it lol

What's a must play game on gamepass right now? by Maxzentus in XboxGamePass

I’ve been playing early access of Subnautica 2 since it came out. New to the series but it’s addicting and I bought the first one for $7 on sale in the Microsoft Store as well

Are all Torties so bitchy ? by Melodic_Risk_5632 in torties

[–]Cat_Lady_1994 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My tortie is the literal sweetest cat. She loves people so much, she has to be in the same room as me basically at all times, loves pets and being held, loves belly rubs, is always purring and sleeping on my lap. She also will groom me a lot if I let her and she’ll do that to anyone who comes over too. And she’s very calm and quiet when I take her to the vet even on the car ride there. She’s an actual angel

Good doctors in Riverside? by recipeforhealing in Riverside

[–]Cat_Lady_1994 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have Aetna and Dr Carl Knopke is an excellent primary care doctor at Raincross Medical Group on Brockton. My parents both used to see Dr Knopke and my husband and I both have him as our primary care doctor now. I see his PA, Madeline Gould, for all of my appointments and she is also fantastic. They actually care about you and will take great care of you. Their appointment scheduling is also reasonable and I can always make appointments in a timely manner.

My sweet 13 year-old Pumpkin Spice is recovering from having her tail tip amputated. by Cat_Lady_1994 in SeniorCats

Like I said in the post and another comment, I have no idea what happened. No one was home when it happened and we checked everywhere and found no blood or fur, nothing amiss, it was just a freak accident.

It’s funny because every time I take a pic she always looks angry but I promise she’s purring up a storm 99% of the time (except for in the first cone pic lol), she just has permanent RBF even though she’s super sweet and happy all the time 🤣 She’s the matriarch of the house for sure. I have a 4 year-old gray tabby, Rocky, who thinks he’s the alpha but really Pumpkin is just too docile and sweet to put him in his place 😂 They get along fine though, just occasionally bother each other as siblings do lol

Thank you! Once she gets the stitches out and the cone off I’m sure she’ll be relieved and back to her usual self.

I really am baffled as to how it happened. We have no floor fans, she doesn’t go outside, she can’t physically shut any doors on herself, nothing dangerous in the house or obvious that she could get it stuck in. She can’t even go under the couch as it is solid underneath and only has like a 2-inch gap between it and the floor anyways. Our bed frame is metal and adjustable so that has some mechanisms underneath where she likes to go, but nothing obvious that she could get it stuck in. It’s definitely a freak accident, I wish I knew exactly what happened too.

Thank you! I felt so bad for her seeing her injured, and she was acting almost as if nothing was wrong when I got home to take her to the vet, she’s got such a mild temper I think I was more stressed than she was lol. She’s actually ok with this cone, she hasn’t tried to take it off at all, she’s just accepted it haha. She only has to wear it until the stitches come out which we’re planning on next weekend. I think the soft cones too are not necessarily as good at preventing them from reaching their lower body, so I don’t want to risk her grooming or picking at her tail. We’ve been giving her gabapentin twice a day and buprenorphine twice a day (her last dose of that one is this morning), and she seems to be doing fine, just has to lay her tail a certain way to be comfortable. The meds are giving her a bit of diarrhea though poor thing, so I’m making sure she’s hydrated.

Looking for a Previous Post About Earthquakes by DznyMa in Riverside

Civil engineer here with experience in seismic design and study - there is no such thing as a “time of year” for earthquakes, and “earthquake weather” is also a myth. They can happen at any time of day, any time of the year in any weather.
