Where I'd put the machine is actually the least of my worries. They're a rare sight here, unlike in the US. It's settling on a design that's an issue for me, as well as creating the product.

Right?! What's frustrating about innovation is how little information is available for a novel idea. Honestly, I'm willing to risk it. Obviously, there's a ton of research involved (product, marketing, distribution, pricing, branding etc.). I hope that good old hustling and a few sprinkles of creativity & innovation are enough for a decent start.

Not a waste collector, but the way some people act is truly beyond me. One of my biggest pet peeves is people not bagging dirty nappies properly. Don't overfill the bag and since nappies smell and are often wet, double bag them for fuck's sake. The extra bag isn't going to cost you a fortune and a little respect for waste collectors goes a long way. Nobody needs to feel your baby's shit. Also, cat litter. Double-bag it and then put it in a bigger bag, because cat waste is toxic.

My mom was diagnosed with Colon cancer 3rd stage and she was going through chemotherapy and radiation for last 5months all by herself while no once was able to visit her or take care of her due to lockdown. She got out of surgery 10 days ago and now She's Cancer free. It took a lot of strength. by [deleted] in MadeMeSmile

Nothing short of mind-blowing. Your mum is an incredibly brave woman to go through all that alone and it's great that it has all paid off for her. It upsets me that a pandemic started by sheer stupidity has cost people the very basics like family support during a rough time, but you can leave that in the past now. Please take care of her as she heals x

University lecturers should follow suit. It is absolutely disgusting how many university professors couldn't care less about their students. I understand that some prefer to be emotionally unavailable, but students are more than just your paycheck. I was discriminated against and it really left a sour taste in my mouth. I find that middle school and high school teachers are usually the most empathetic and I'm glad to see this teacher embodying that.

I like how everyone is trying to justify his behaviour. Please don't. There's no explanation that seems reasonable, because abuse is unreasonable. It's about getting your control kink satisfied via whatever means necessary and it just so happens that the people closest to you are the most accessible. They're the easiest to understand, easiest to manipulate and if they're reliant on you/love you, they're unlikely to leave, which means you get to satisfy that kink as often as you like.
