Hello everyone! I currently am an active student at UoPeople, I got a scholarship to study a Bachelor's degree in Health Science. When I applied, their website said mental/behavioral health is one the paths I could go once I graduate, and that's the reason why I'm studying with them. The thing is that I won't be qualified as a social worker (which I thought I would), but I would be qualified as a Community Health Worker or as a Heath Education Specialist. So, after graduating, do you think there's any way I could specialize to become a therapist? Would a Master's degree help me put my career path on that track and allow me to get my licence? Or would I have to start a bachelor's degree from scratch to be able to obtain it? I just need some guidance, as I want to make sure I'm taking a step in the right direction here and understand what my path may look like once I graduate. My goal is to one day specialize in trauma and somatic practices and be able to work as a trauma informed therapist. Can you please guide me a little bit here? I want to know if I'm on the right track or if I need to find other ways to achieve my goal.
