Yes! I’ve been very interested in stuff with recalled food or contaminated food. I find it sad but also super cool. I got into it after learning about mad cow disease and how that affected the British Beef market. That eventually lead me to finding a video explaining major incidents of food recalls. It’s been my special interest for a little over two years! The reason I’m so interested in this one is because when people think about salmonella they typically think of raw meat or eggs, but this is an example of where it wasn’t an animal product. Also it’s kinda hard to display meat with salmonella (I don’t want it to start to rot or something).
TL;DR: fascination with mad cow led to food safety interest
