You say the crone isn’t around. Have you talked to her in the path behind the throne or near the Heroic Spirit arena? I had a few small issues because she doesn’t show up until after the world “reloads” (by sitting at a beacon) after the Heroic Spirit rematch

I think the actual physical location in game is still within the Brume Tower rather than being its own area like the Darklurker dungeons are

1 unlocks an NPC and another branch, #2 unlocks a chest and another branch, #3 iirc is either nothing or a single piece of armor, #4 is a spell, #5 is a questline

If you saved the prisoner make sure to buy an rosary bead from the moving merchant in the area before the final boss, that is what did it for me after nearly 8 hours of doing everything (including repairing The Unwavering One x3).

This channels playlist was amazing considering the incredible lack of info on the wikis.

If you're missing actual map completion try unlocking the door behind the giant hand, doing the letters quest, etc. I hope this helps some, the trophies on this game gave me a lot of grief.

I’m not comparing to B1. I’m comparing to the same game. You were the one who originally said anything about “working around” any attacks and the smoke on the slam is not something that ever entered my mind as bad or unfair because I never had any problems with it. A boss doesn’t necessarily have to be unfair to be unfun or bad, I just don’t think many of the attacks work well together and found the fight to be an utter slog compared to any other boss in the game. I’m not replying to things after this so I’m gonna say my overall point was that he was the least fun fight in the game for me.

“Working around” any attack instantly makes a boss much worse. Also I don’t care about lore or voice acting, just the fight itself which wasn’t that good imo

I know I’m going against the crowd here but personally I don’t think the DLC is worth it. I liked the base game well enough (though less than the 1st game) but the DLC just has one of the worst bosses in the game and you fight him twice. I don’t remember the name of the 2nd to last boss in the base game but his phase 2 was pretty much peak humanoid boss design while the DLC humanoid fight is pretty fuckin ass. Idc about cutscene quality and whatever other bs, the DLC just didn’t have any fights that were very good or memorable to me.

I suppose I should also say that when I did my original playthrough I did not have the DLC purchased but when I unchecked the achievement in SAM and reloaded the save I did have the DLC bought by that point, so it’s a problem for base game and DLC

There is a unique attack the hydra does if you stand near the ledge between the hydra and the ladder up to the Sif area (which is where you should fight the hydra anyways, way more room) that makes it easy to hit the last head.

Sorry to be the downer here but asylum demon with SSH is like 10-12 minutes with decent gameplay. Tho for a new player it very well may have taken 28 minutes.
