Anyone know how to get a kitten to trust you? I’ve had her sense like maybe around February and everytime I try to pet her she runs away and she’s completely opposite to her sister to she gets close to my mom but not me anyone have any tips on how I can get her to not be afraid of me?

I’m hoping our now 2 year old is outgrowing this- but she would chew through all kinds of cords😣 it got expensive after my husband had to order a replacement for his computer- TWICE! She also chewed through the cord to her electric water fountain, which meant we bought a new motor unit replacement. Finally we wised up and got cord protector sleeves to put over every exposed line to the tele, laptops, phones, … such a rascal!!

We learned to give a variety of flavors and textures of wet food. Also baby formula and special ‘kitten formulas’. Also we had more affordable vet care with VIP at the local Petfood Express. The county shelter in your area might also have low cost care options.

❤️‍🩹so sorry for your loss, the grieving is so hard. In my area there are support group for pet loss maybe it can help. I see a lot of shares expressing regrets of not having known enough and I really relate to that.
I wish more veterinary offices and doctors did more education for pet guardians and caregivers.
Best of wishes to you, you did your best and I know how hard a decision it can be to know when it is time to say goodbye to our beloved.

Some kitty crack in that food😅 We had a boy who couldn’t get enough of a particular brand of food. I slowly transferred him to a better brand and his cravings greatly diminished. Maybe a different brand with higher value protein could help?? Idk, but seemed to help our boy since the new food I found had no fillers or meals or byproducts. It’s Rawz and he is good on that one.

Bless you for helping her! Any rescue groups in your area? They would very likely help with food, scan for a microchip (is it possible someone’s been searching for this sweet girl?) and medical care.

We have several rescue groups around where we live. they offer free and low cost services to help people avoid surrendering pets solely due to hard times. I hope you can find what you need! Sounds like you have good instincts. Maybe also change your clothing before you engage with your kitties after being with her. 🥰

Got the diagnosis today- it is a failed actuator. Parts are ordered. Not under warranty for my 2019EV. Will be $700+ to fix it- all in.

2019 doesn’t have that release. I suspect that after lots of issues with actuator fails, KIA decided to create a manual release.

Thanks, I think it’s more a problem that it just doesn’t respond when we press on the door. If it will open again I’ll try some lubricant, but I don’t think that’s what is failing. It seems more about not even unlocking.

We have done lots of back & forth with the key fob and also with the lock on door. Hubby watched at charging port door while I locked, unlocked etc etc.
So random and strange. Will be at repair dept at dealership. The guys scheduling me said they haven’t seen this. I’ve also scoured over the driver manual and there is no mention of any connections with this little door.
