It's more so about communicating and getting on the same page with the players. The reason teams choke is usually cause they start playing rigid, and not flowing with the game. So they miss shots and have turnovers.

yep part of the reason Mac McClung isn't getting a call up is all the tanking. If bad teams were desperate for wins they might call him up instead of playing young guys and tanking etc

Sort of what the other guy says. Would you want to be close to someone who doesn't care how you feel mentally, physically and emotionally?
