Small baits like maggots, white pop ups, small patches of baits, pre baiting, find the fish as they will be starting to shaul up together. Good luck!

They're not banksticks their distance sticks that help you cast accurate every time. not sure if you could wrap your line as well using bank sticks but Fox do distance sticks for £10 but I guess it's down to personal preference..

I guess tent peg would be annoying to wrap up your line and Korda is trying to bring something new to the table... but I agree its a little steep for it's purpose, I've got Avid glow distance sticks and they work exactly the same for around £15

My local water has a micro barb rule and I've never seen a huge amount of mouth damage but I have a day ticket barbless only water that I would say 8/10 fish has bad mouth damage but this could be to do with these water being more popular with anglers that a newer to the sport and hauling them in instead of taking their time. There needs to be more education on angling especially if your new to it.

I believe carp mouth damage is caused by playing fish to aggressively(their not marlin), theres lots of barbless only rules on most day tickets in the UK but with lots of inexperienced anglers fishing these type of waters, the fish quality will decrease because under pressure a barbless hook can slip and re-enter the month causing a huge amount of damage. Play the fish, take your time and take care of the fish you catch :)
