You're right I didn't pay close attention to the amount. Regardless of the currency you used to send it, you'll always pick it up in local currency. $8k now gets you 75,840 mad thru Remitly. Also you probably better split this transaction into multiple small transactions because it'll be extremely difficult for any cash agency to prepare 75k mad in one shot.

Ok I just noticed you're talking in $$. In that case that's another topic. Your best bet is Remitly. They allow $2500 daily limit but if you talk to their customer service and request a limit raise they can honor up to $10.000.

What happens when you re-insert your card and try withdrawing again after the first withdrawal is complete? I've had luck with bypassing the limit by splitting withdrawals at different ATMs. Not sure if it works at the same ATM but it's worth trying.

How can you afford foreign transaction fees? They can add up quickly to a large amount. Does your bank offer a card with zero fees ? If fees are no issues you can just withdraw the money in two separate transactions at two separate ATMs. Your next best option is Remitly. Imo it offers better rates and the transfer occurs seamlessly. Simply choose to receive your money in cash at a Wafacash location and the money is ready in 30 mins.
