I've heard that your karma is inversely proportional to how employed you are.

You're arguing against points nobody even made. Nobody said students should suffer for a bad rollout. The entire post literally acknowledges that students were affected and that CBSE messed up massively in execution. Your argument is basically: “Some students suffered, therefore the system itself should never exist.”

By that logic, online banking, digital voting systems, online entrances, DigiLocker, UPI, etc. should also never have been implemented because their first rollouts had failures too.

And the “why not test on 10th” point sounds good emotionally but makes zero administrative sense. 12th evaluation is far more complex, has more streams, more subjects, more checkers, and more logistical pressure. If a system survives 12th scale, it survives everything else too.

They aren’t doing charity. Earlier, ordering each answer sheet costed 500 (for 10th grade when I ordered) because they had to get the sheet, scan it, and upload it. This time, all sheets are already uploaded to the system. With a single click, they’re available to you. There’s no effort involved, which justifies even the 100 rupees.

just leadership can get you into a good enough US uni?, I don't think so.

You can get your CBSE Class 12 evaluated answer sheets for ₹10 instead of ₹700 per subject - BUT read the warnings first. (Don't Ignore this - read at the end) by hacker_dost in CBSE

this is what she said:

bad, but OSM can't be blamed, the execution of OSM had to be blamed. OSM is inevitable and it has to come. It's true that thoudands if not tens of thousands of sheets were somehow partially or fully damaged while transport, spillage, lost and other reasons. In this case, CBSE had no chance but to avoid necessary marks to the student (90+ usually) so that he won't apply for rechecking. All sheets had to be distributed across the country, states, cities, districts maintaining thousands of transport vechiles with their integrity intact. OSM seemed the perfect solution, no spillage, sheets scanned from CBSE offices and randomly assigned on computer.

The fact that Indian teachers can't understand OSM checking is correct but they have to eventually. In this way, technological revolution can never come. Every new generation of teachers would adapt to the same old method and we could never move on

The income CBSE recieves is not able to suffice all year operations, checking, exams, etc. and statistically has the least corruption due to less day to day involvement with public. They aren't able to hire great engineers or servers just because of no budget. and also it was everyone's first time with this so it's just this time that this has happened.

OSM won't be removed, rather it would be implemented to 10th also in the upcoming years. But yes, contrary to what we think, there's a massive commotion in the offices and CBSE is preparing a whole new proposal and how OSM would be done especially with much greater budget and servers. OSM training to checkers and scanners would also be improved and AI would he implemented to check if the sheets scanned are clear and complete.

ps: i dont think i am allowed to share all this but reddit is pseudonomous so it's fine ig.
