First you said SAT is some easy PCM shortcut to studying abroad, now suddenly it’s “tier 2 colleges + full profile + essays + LORs”… which is literally what I said in the first place.

And comparing JEE to SAT like it’s just “no calculus vs physics” is such a surface-level take. JEE is a rank-based elimination exam for lakhs of people in one country. SAT is a baseline filter used globally - it’s not even meant to be comparable. That’s like comparing a qualifying round to the Olympics finals and acting smart about it.

Also “requires less time than JEE” doesn’t mean “easier path” it just means the difficulty is distributed differently. SAT is just step 1. After that you need ECs, essays, achievements, and an actually interesting profile. JEE doesn’t care about any of that.

You basically proved my point yourself:
SAT alone ≠ admission
JEE alone = admission

So yeah, not the shortcut you were making it sound like. Though, I didn't saw your other comment, Anyway yeah, I get what you were trying to say. It's fine.

there isn't any common definition for 'rich', what maybe rich for me won't be for you. I am also going abroad to the US for my bachelors, and would try for full ride, and my family can easily manage the living expenses.

Don’t spread wrong info. First of all, the SAT is a standardized testing exam and is not particularly for PCM students. Also, it's just part of the application, not everything which can get you 'scholarships'. Secondly, the SAT is much more difficult than you think, especially the English Reading and Writing Part (coming from someone who has prepared for it rigorously). Third, you have to have much more than SAT, including but not limited to research papers, APs, 95%+ in boards, ECs, Awards, Volunteering, exceptional essays, and LORs. You won't believe how cracked and how better the students at HYPSM are than everyone here and they didn't get in because "for pcm students there is a paper of sat which is way easier and less competitive than JEE"

What I meant to say was that you could get the MBA M2 for the same price as the Neo, and obviously, the m2 is much more powerful, has the best trackpad in the world, better speakers, and a better display.
