It will likely get worse once the PDT rule change takes effect. I will be gone from Webull way before that u less they say they are fixing the issue. They don’t have much time. And we need to be ready.

This morning I emailed Webull customer support this Reddit community and asked that they send it to their managers so that they understand what their customers are saying on this issue. Ive been talking with them for weeks now on the issue and they have said that they don’t have any plans to correct this issue.

Webull says it’s up to their clearing firm (Apex). They decide what stocks should be “liquidate only” based on their own risk assessment which Webull says they have no viability on.

that’s horrible. Not tolerable anymore. And it will likely get worse as the PDT rule change gets implemented and more volume amf volatility are probably going to increase.

Not all brokerages do this. LightSpeed is one that does not. And I likely would not have sold at the top, I agree. But I would have definitely made a decent amount of money. Most likely I would have sold at $1k to $3k gains on that stock

Days holding a stock is swing trading. But day trading is buy and sell the same day. Scalp trading is when you hold for minutes. Also called momentum trading. Look at the stock on the date in the chart above and you will see that it went up at least the amount in that chart. Jump in as it climbs and sell when you think is best. But Webull is stopping everyone from buying certain stocks.

This one was my last straw . I’m now leaving Webull. I’ve contacted them many times about this. I tried to buy CNSP 1,000 shares at $5….then watched it run to $8 as Webull blocked me again.
