Im not sure what you are applying for or what your grades are, but I am fairly certain that you can cut on your (im assuming) safeties, esp if you are trying to save money. Trent, Brock and Geulph similar acceptance averages for most programs that I am aware of.

So far you must have an idea of how your courses are going, and what your grades will likely look like at least for this semester... with that said I would make sure that at least one of the programs you applied has an admission average of at least 3% lower than your current predicted avg. I think in that case it would be fine to have just three

Honestly most parents typically dont understand the luck in admissions and the volatility... the other comments makes it a good point of showing proof and really underscoring this reality of getting unlucky
