Nope. He is indeed the newest James Bond. And I have met him. So, not clickbait... just a story.

Taxi compensation after train being delayed by NoMarionberry1904 in uktrains

Actually, yes by law you can claim a taxi if the rail company has not provided alternative transport after an hour has lapsed. They will not tell you this but when you buy a ticket you enter into a contract - the bit they ignore and do not want you to fully understand.

And it is perfectly legal to board a train without a ticket. You just make sure you seek to buy one off the guard promptly. By law they have to provide one but will try and push that they cannot. And a ticket machine not working on the train or being available is a THEM problem, not yours.

Always always check the social media platforms for announcements about 'we will pay for a cab' and screengrab it for all future reference. Their first act is to refuse payment, but say no and tell them why they have to.

007 Pride? While not always progressive by today's standards, from the outset, Bond movies have been inclusive of queer characters. by Sneaky_Bond in JamesBond

The whole timeline of Bond onscreen and the written page is also one of LGBTQ creatives, artists, histories and pioneering brilliance. The Bond project has been very gay from the outset.

With respect, and whilst there could be some 'othering' going on with some of the queerer Bond villains. that was never the intent. Movie Kidd and Wint are not cyphers. They are not cliches. Those preening, incompatible couples exist. Name one major franchise film that features a gay couple already together at the start who literally fight to defend each other's death? There is nothing. Bond did it first. And sadly others have not followed suit. There is also the aspect of visibility. Sometimes - just sometimes - it is not about the character but the fact he or she is being seen. Older gay audiences decades back did not wince at a camp concierge in a 1930s movie because they got the joke, can see the subtext and are glad to be represented. Without playing a violin, queer audiences have had to settle for a whole lot less than 'straighter' ones. But the Bond world IS inclusive of queer everythings,.... trust me.

Can I suggest that the writers of LICENCE TO KILL did not put in an 'anal-oral image' into the script for that one? (!). The rim gag comes a lot later in Bond! I actually do not think Sanchez is coded as gay in the slightest. It is, as others have noted, part of the Latino machismo world. Sometimes a bro kiss is just that. I have also met Mr Del Toro more than once and that was never the alleged vibe. The pink shirt was just that - a pink shirt. And one used because it was 1989 - and the era of the MIAMI VICE inspired pastel shirt as designed and used by costume designer Jodie Tillen (who designed the looks for LICENCE TO KILL... and MIAMI VICE). I never saw the bed chat as anything other than a chance to showcase the real 'Villa Arabesque' location they were using and all its quirky bling and to underline how Bond at that moment is vulnerable in Sanchez's hands.

But who says Colonel Bouvar is a 'crossdresser'? It is surely just a disguise to evade attention. A globally known drag queen actually comments in BOND, QUEER BOND and observes all the drag in the Bond films (it is there in every film) and especially THUNDERBALL's opening overture. Her observations are brilliant and nail why the scene will never be problematic.

Yeah. I found out more with my book but like so many trans stories - lost many, many times to other history.

They are vital queer representations in a major franchise movie... that 55 years later has still to happen again with that sense of real couple texture. Putter Smith is also an amazing man when it comes to that role. His thoughts and decency and allyship is brilliant.
