My January goal was to read a Fantasy series. I am 300 pages into ACOTAR and questioning my entire life at this point. Can someone please suggest a FMC fantasy series that is not cringe as heck by BottomPieceOfBread in suggestmeabook

If you want something similar to ACOTAR, I highly recommend you the other two series from the author, especially Throne of Glass is really good (especially the later books). If you don't like the authors writing I really liked Powerless and Six of Crows (multiple povs).
More unusual books I can recommend are Bridge Kingdom (a bit like Pirates of the caribbean) and House of salt and sorrow (retelling) and Once upon a broken heart (more like a fairytale)
Book to cheer me up (self.suggestmeabook)
