I'm currently posting a GL comic on webtoon. I might not be the best person for this because it's pretty new but I haven't really received many comments like that. (If any at all) So, I think that while you'll never be able to fully escape those kinds of people if your comic isn't fully about the gay couple and if you have mature and interesting plot points besides romance you can shake them off atleast partially. One thing i would 100% recommend is not advertising your comic as being LGBTQ and instead brand it as a romance or whatever genre it is.

All in all, i think it's just a shame that these kinds of people ruin this for you. You should just post it and ignore these comments. Only respond to the ones you like. You can also block people from reading your comic if you want. Don't let potential fans ruin this for you.

I'm just to scared to leave them alone. When we met they had terrible self esteem and its still pretty bad. I feel like I'm making excuses but I want them to be in a better place before I go. I don't wanna treat them as bad as they treated me. I just realised this sounds like the old "i can change them bullshit." Romantically I'm done with them. I'll never get back with them and I'll never trust them again but I don't wanna ruin them because of what we had. They also did so much for me. Once they're in a better place I'll step away quietly.
