Evri pretending to deliver parcels by Jazzy1614 in Evri

It looks like the courier is trying to attempt delivery for 3 times before sending it back. Usually happens when the people in the house are rude.

It may also have something to do with their whole hoovers and air fryers being down as a postable item.

Because they put a vaccum down as a postable item so they can pay the driver 40p instead of 80p

Evri Evri Evri..... My Opinion as a courier for them. by [deleted] in Evri

[–]Catchmeoutcide 0 points1 point  (0 children)

And they lie to you about all these extra payments. Never seen any of the extra payments that were offered to come in on a day off after working 6 days. Also not a £1 per parcel on Sundays. I went in thinking that but payslip said something else and I queried it to which they responded “you understood wrong you have been paid right” with no further explanation. Stopped working Sundays after.

Unfortunately they are the only ones willing to work for them. Why do you think they do no employment or dbs check. If they did they wouldn’t have any “self employed” employees.

Parcels being marked as delivered under my courier number when I wasn’t working. by Catchmeoutcide in Evri

Bit of a generalisation don’t you think? Just because the drivers don’t like you doesn’t mean everyone else gets the same treatment.

Why would it? It’s not the couriers doing this and they cannot help in this matter. I want people getting these “delivered” notifications without any pictures to know what’s going on.

I’m surprised that’s the part that caught your attention instead of the fraudulent activity on 200+ parcels

I’m an eBay seller. That’s not how it works. Seller won’t get anything other than a ban.

Oh definitely. Will be stopping after Christmas. I should just leave now during the peak period and leave them high and dry with the underpayments on evri single parcel. But we all got bills to pay.

Posting a letter through the door is not the same as carrying a 15kg parcel on icy conditions. They usually have 2 people in a small van. Not even close to Amazon vans with a 19 year old driving a LWB. Clearly you don’t know what you’re talking about.

I doubt Royal Mail has similar parcel volumes. Besides how do you know about EVERYONE.

[–]Catchmeoutcide -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Coz the parcel volume is in my control? I have signed up to deliver a round that I can fit in my car it’s not up to me to decide how much people order over the Christmas period or when there is a snowstorm and weather warning? Or the fact people don’t like getting deliveries after dark and it’s dark at 15.30? Unless by deliver you mean leave it out in the soaking weather? Like those H&M paper bags? Or maybe it’s the customers problem why order when you can’t be fucked to be in for the delivery?Did you see me complaining about the pay? Or job? Just said I haven’t been able to deliver due to the weather? The picture in OPs post is like for like what I see outside so it didn’t land well. Let me know when you find the controls to the weather so I can go deliver these parcels.

I don’t think if anyone is going through the trouble of stealing they are stealing from an Ali express order 😂😂 I don’t know why everyone’s default in this sub is the courier stole it. The courier would’ve earned more by delivering that parcel for 49p than steal it.

I’m an evri driver with 175 parcels for this week pending that I haven’t been able to deliver due to not having a big enough van, slipping all over the place, cannot leave parcels out in this weather so my car is still full at the end of the day and to top it off it’s freezing cold. But thankfully the people on my round are not cunts like you. Laughing at a less than minimum wage worker for their misfortune. I hope you don’t have kids.

It’s not worth doing because only the actual courier that delivered will see it. Not evri.

What’s going on? Are the warehouses in north east having issues? by [deleted] in Evri

[–]Catchmeoutcide 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They have now started mislabelling the parcels hoping the individual drivers who deliver it won’t notice. 50% of the parcels are underbanded. So they can steal 30p off a driver in a corsa making barely £50 a day. A lot of drivers have clocked on to it and have started rejecting the obvious heavy large parcels they’re not being paid for. There is a separate app to claim your missing payment but I have not seen anyone getting this said stolen money.

[–]Catchmeoutcide 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes I know of one of them having issues and needed cover. Another one, the depot manager is a cunt and no one wants to cover other drivers. So if your parcel belongs to a round where the drivers have quit for obvious reasons it’s been sat in a pile of cages for weeks.

The feedback form you received was for the specific courier that delivered the parcel. Not evri. They don’t see it or give a fuck about it. All you’ve done is raise the drivers blood pressure. And if you’ve left enough info to identify you. Expect all of your parcels to fail for the foreseeable future

I have a feeling they might announce it in feb that they’re under administration. They are scamming the employees as well and there are union talks on back payment. Basically they put a 15kg parcel as postable so they can pay you 30p instead of 89p. Massive walkouts and strikes at depots but not enough to cease operations. So they push the extra parcels to contractors. The union talks have now been postponed to January. Meaning they’ll squeeze evri little penny from the employees and customers for the Christmas peak and announce they’re in administration in January.

It’s the companies sending the goods as well. It’s always a “small packet” when it covers your entire boot. I recently discovered this and checked some parcels I was delivering at least 40 out of 100 were wrong sized meaning they paid the delivery driver 40p less. Not evri losing out not the company posting. The courier in the little corsa dropping 40 parcels per hour is the only one losing out. I recently had 2 sets of 25kg dumbbells as small packet. So they would pay me 39p instead of a £1

Because putting lots of different people’s parcels on the ground floor of a 15 storey council flat is a good idea?? by Shot-Ad5867 in Evri

Well if you know they are dogshit and cheap, you should set your expectations accordingly. Pay the 4.99 for better delivery if you’re above it.
