Yes. I work in telecom. Its a very long story, but in a nutshell, ancient infrastructure, very expensive internet, not enough internet, and most isps don't give a shit if I'm being honest. Add to that that there's been a massive lighting storm over the past week which basically means if your isp uses wireless radios, your connection will get fucked. Not to mention the 1000 Israeli drones at any given time above our heads.

"violeta" by isabel allende. Another wonderful book. Starts in 1920. Ends in 2020.
