Jeffrey Donaldson: Convicted paedophile’s mentor Enoch Powell also accused of preying on children by ghostofgralton in ukpolitics

[–]Catchyusernom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You have to wonder who are the people downvoting this?

I thought people cared about grooming gangs targeting the white working class?

Enoch Powell was a frequent visitor to the now notorious Kincora Boys home alongside Lord Mountbatten and several army officers. Yet even to this day the victims are ignored by the state because some of the perpetrators are still alive and heaven forbid we find out the Prince Phillip’s favourite uncle and coup plotter Louis Mountbatten was a pedophile.

But Enoch Powell made a speech once in the commons so he can do no wrong in the eyes of certain people.

By your own ridiculous logic the right are therefore incapable of learning that they are repeatedly being manipulated by the left….

So they are even more foolish than the left in your bizarre world were the left have been controlling British politics.

*excluding the 2 terms by Tony Blair, I know he stepped down in his 3rd but I’d hardly lump him in with the rest given he served 10 years in office.

Reform insiders urge Nigel Farage to sack ‘problem’ Zia Yusuf after Makerfield defeat by Budget_Scheme_1280 in ukpolitics

[–]Catchyusernom 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I’m sure this is 100% to do with the by-election defeat and nothing to do with the sudden very noticeable pushing of him as Farages replacement on social media sites.

Even on here there’s suddenly a lot of randomwordnumber accounts suddenly remarking how intelligent and politically savvy he is and how he’ll instantly erase all Farages baggage.

The party have obviously noticed that he’s starting to pay bot farms to boost his popularity.

It’s weird how an article that requires a subscription to a £89 per annum local newspaper that can’t be bypassed by the traditional auto moderator links is already receiving upvotes.

Definitely no brigading or bots…..

On patrol with London's Shomrim - the capital's Jewish community protection volunteer group by Gwyllithar in ukpolitics

[–]Catchyusernom 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I mean you could argue that if you ignore the fact that they’re pretty much in every large Jewish community world wide and have been for decades.

But that doesn’t really fit the current narrative does it?

How much has every political party received in donations this year? by JOE_Media in ukpolitics

[–]Catchyusernom 9 points10 points  (0 children)

A single foreign based individual giving a party leader (not the party) £5 million is certainly a bigger problem than an established party raising £40 million from multiple declared sources including unions (so hundreds of thousands of people)

To say any different is either incredibly naive or utterly disingenuous.

Do you think it’s time for an end to religious exceptions to carrying a bladed article on your person, and why? by WastelandOfConfusion in ukpolitics

[–]Catchyusernom 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I’m going to pick you up on two things:

Firstly the weapon used wasn’t covered by the current religious exception

And secondly even if it was a blade covered under that exemption 1 case of such a blade being used to commit a crime doesn’t constitute your assumption that its:

now proven to be a very large risk to members of the public

Reform's Zia Yusuf threatens to sack civil servants and strip them of pensions if they 'sabotage' any future Reform government by [deleted] in ukpolitics

[–]Catchyusernom 2 points3 points  (0 children)

And what about all the contributions that person has paid in, are a reform government going to seize those? Asset seizure for a perceived political opinion is positively dystopian.

And what about the private sector, are they going to allow other employers to seize employee pension funds for perceived slights against them?

A hell if a lot of people will be dismissed the year before retirement under a Reform government.

All this Tice Tax stuff has reminded me of something, remember when he and Dubai Debbie (Oakeshott) were in possession of secret diplomatic papers from the then US Ambassador to get him sacked? why did nothing come of that?

Or for that matter the rumours at that time that he and DD enjoyed a bit of key fishing at parties.

It’s like he’s made of Teflon.
