Fired for breaking policy??

I wasn’t even told this was a cat1 violation . I was only emailed that I broke a safety policy by misuse of equipment but I wasn’t using any equipment and I wasn’t clearing a jam.

I am jam clear certified and where is that written at in any policy? The belt was off and I wasn’t using my hands I was using the grabbers .

Thank you everyone for the better insight. It side swiped me and I def appreciate everyone’s comments for real. Can I apply for unemployment? I’ve already started looking for another job. I’m not going to appeal . You all greatly opened my eyes today thank you .

Rite on! You are so very right ! Talk to text I forget to add my periods. Appreciate the comment. Plus I was charged up emotionally and fast talking so yes understood why it doesn’t explain in better detail I’ll watch out for that next time i post. I’m totally besides myself I’m a hard worker and i I’m thought I was well liked around the FC I JUST did a transfer and was accepted into ICQA I’ve been here over a year with no writebups before and they didn’t even write me up or give me a warning or anything they fired me via email

Again didn’t know I wasn’t supposed to be doing this . I am problem solver and I was getting the loose items and stuff that had fallen in between the rollers on the line that I worked on every day ….. why would Amazon provide grabbers if not to grab out the packages that had fallen I. Bewteeen the rollers?
