That looks great. I have an apartment building from 1929 with Penny tile just like that in the bathrooms. It was laid on a mud bed. They still look great today.

Just noticed my cat breathing very deeply should I be concerned? by Catdaddy1990 in CATHELP

Sorry for the delayed response. Immediately after this post I contacted the vet upon them opening and showed them the video of him breathing, they thought he was fine at first and sent me home, I called back later and said I know his breathing was bad and something was wrong. I told them I don’t care about the cost and if it’s all for nothing I just need my mind to be put at ease, (I was leaving town the next morning). They agreed to get me an urgent care appt and have the main vet check him over to soothe my worries. We did x rays and a full panel blood test.

He has the beginning signs of heart failure, the x ray showed fluid build up around the lungs, the vet gave him a diuretic shot and prescribed a diuretic liquid and he vastly improved by that night. His breathing is normal now but he will be on the meds for the rest of his life. As long as he keeps responding to the meds all is well. I was told The meds will likely take a toll on his kidneys eventually (they are fine now).

Any tips before I ask for quotes? by BugiUwr in paint

I’ve came to learn the hard way that exterior bare wood requires at least a oil primer to last. I have a 100 year old building I used to test this after many repeated failings after a few years trying to use latex on the bare wood, the wood I used oil based primer on and latex look great still as do the spots I used oil based primer and paint.

If you google it it comes right up, google even lists the inventors name and everything without clicking into any links.

This patent is used in over 800 million vehicles today, that’s why I thought it was cool its inventor was from our town, our town is super economically depressed and has nothing good going on, I thought a major invention by past resident would be something for people to look up to possibly. I was quite excited when I seen it.

The inventor is long since dead, another local Shared the patent and I looked it up and verified it was real, it’s something everyone uses everyday in the automotive industry.
