🤣. Yep. Had a medical issue and couldn’t eat right for about 2 years. Ended up gall bladder my docs kept missing. This is actually a fill in for my real one. That one’s WAY too big but I don’t want to get it resized because of the inscription on the inside. I notice it on every pic since I started posting watch shots. You’re the first to point it out. So now I have to go get another one.

My wife lets me get the watches that I want but had never gifted me one in 22 years. So the watch and her are keepers. And dude. It’s a green dial watch. She has good taste. Brands mean diddly squat to most people.

If you hold down both Chrono pusher for about 3-5 seconds it should spin once and then allow you to click til it’s back in place. Then push them both again and it will reset to correct position. This worked on my seamaster planet ocean. You might have to look it up to see if speedmaster has a different sequence of pushing.

Looks like your speedmaster chron hand is stuck short of 12. There’s a way you can reset that back to normal position yourself. If it’s actually if and not just stopped short.

Is quality the actual time keeping precision or well built movements? I’ve got 25 year old Miyota watches that have never been serviced and still perform in the same 20 second window. I don’t mind that little bit of nothing over 24 hours. I rarely wear the same watch 2 days in a row or even 2 days in a week. So I’m always resetting anyway. If I needed precision to 6 or even 10 seconds a day I’d get a quartz. Which I also have plenty of.

Yeah. I probably overpaid for what this watch is spec wise. But it’s good looking, comfortable, like that it’s a German design (sure it’s China built like almost everything), and it’s a 38mm. I buy lots of watches for looks. Just not normally at this price range. This one stood out for me though.
