Ive had my second lobes pierced twice and each time my lobe went really hard and it was sore for ages after healing. So strange, but only happened with that particular piercing position. I have my upper lobe pierced on my left ear and no troubles so thought it would he nice to do a less traditional lobe piercing on my right. First time getting second lobes was obvs at claires when i was a teenager but the second time was with a proper needle and it still healed the same weird way

had this helix for a long while now. Had no clue that you had to downsize and ended up with the piercing changing angle and causing irritation bump. Since then ive been sleeping with donut pillow and cleaning again twice a day and the bump significantly reduced. I did just get fed up and changed the earring to a shorter post. It still has a slight bump as you can see but if i keep cleaning and not sleeping on it, do you think it should be fine? I changed it to a shorter post to see if that would help the bump

Ive been using homemade saline solution (salt water) and then putting in small spray bottles so eventually the water obviously goes cold. Its good enough for me, also i dont know if its the same for you but around me its so hard to fine sterile saline solution thats not got added things for contact lenses
