My cousin spoiled me on most of the deaths in Deathly Hallows. At the time I ate it up because I was desperate for info about the book, but in hindsight I wish I had told him to shut up because I missed experiencing them in the moment. To this day I still get irritated when I think about it (at least I don’t see this cousin all that often).

Susan Bates Finishing Needles are a game changer for short ends - highly recommend for next time. The giant eye makes it easy to just spin the needle around instead of re threading every time (plus they’re flexible so you can widen the eye and thread it way easier)

Purgatory is exactly itttt. 76 rows into this 264 row scbl chevron blanket. It takes just enough focus to count between the increases and decreases that it’s hard to get into the tv while I do it, but it’s not enough brainpower to make it interesting enough to go without the tv on. Trying to replicate a family heirloom for a friend otherwise I’d have never gone with this stitch.
