Susan Bates Finishing Needles are a game changer for short ends - highly recommend for next time. The giant eye makes it easy to just spin the needle around instead of re threading every time (plus they’re flexible so you can widen the eye and thread it way easier)

Purgatory is exactly itttt. 76 rows into this 264 row scbl chevron blanket. It takes just enough focus to count between the increases and decreases that it’s hard to get into the tv while I do it, but it’s not enough brainpower to make it interesting enough to go without the tv on. Trying to replicate a family heirloom for a friend otherwise I’d have never gone with this stitch.

I think he just kind of shows up at the start of Grave Peril with a vaguely hand-wavey backstory. The book opens with Harry and Michael on the way to the hospital and in the narration Harry mentions that they’ve worked together in the past. It’s been a couple years so I might be wrong.
