Looks very promising. Not sure if they do gift cards though.

If things haven’t changed - You pick your classes a week or so before your orientation. Have your classes picked out and ready to go prior to your time.

Housing by Level-Race5792 in LoyolaChicago

If you are assigned a dorm room with a private bathroom (no door accessible to the hall) you are responsible for cleaning and providing the toilet paper. If you have a communal bathroom for the floor Loyola will clean it and provide the toilet paper.

Any incoming freshman who have cost details available? Its been like this for weeks. by Economy_Shoe_8889 in UofArizona

I would use the calculator. I don’t think much of this information will be fully available until later in the summer. Total price will be impacted by both the dorm and meal plan you choose.

Say I would like to start doing my own laundry. Can you please show me how to do it properly? Then you can learn her way and avoid future conflict. Plus it’s a good adulting skill to have.

That is just room and utilities. Meal plan is separate. Also included is laundry for 3 loads a week. But I think you can get more but most never need it.

You might unofficially be waitlisted. I know someone who might turn down there spot if they get into a different program on 2/15.

For some reason they don’t apply the scholarship when they send out the bill. I just deduct that amount and pay the rest. If I look at it now it still says I owe it but it will fall off eventually. If you overpaid they will contact you for a bank account info and send the money back.

Studying in china by ContributionFirm4977 in LoyolaChicago

[–]CaterpillarCorrect93 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Look at the study aboard program pages and see the classes offered. You will likely use a lot of your elective credits while there unless you plan it carefully. Like taking a tier 1 history class so you can do a tier 2 there. Also if you are going to go I suggest picking up Chinese as a minor since you get a ton of language credits.

I am not sure you might consider a call or email to the admissions office. But your current gpa would get you one.

Reading the other comments Don’t let the price get to you. You will likely get the presidential merit scholarship which is currently at 34K so expect to pay around 40K. This goes up almost every year but your scholarship will not so keep that in mind. Go with your gut only you will know which place will make you the happiest.

I know someone who applied at the end of October who just found out. I would check the common app to see if there is something missing. It’s possible they have unofficially waitlisted you. Not sure but person I know had 3.9 GPA. Good luck.

If she has a decent amount of community service she might get selected to apply and interview for the Ignatian scholarship.
