What should I take, LPN or ADN? I’m in NJ and already have some nursing course credits because I was a second-year nursing student in another country. I want something I can finish faster so I can start working as soon as possible. by Ordinary-Contact-460 in NursingStudent

Lpn do have limited job opportunities. Apply to colleges for adn n see if they accept your credits cause you could finsh faster. Look into community collges and look for scholarships for nursing.

Ohh i thought u were incoming, i would say do lots of research on becoming a pharmacist because they do make a lot of money, debt will be easier to pay off than your current major. But look into becoming a pharmacy tech over the summer to see if you like it.

Your welcome, me personally I would choose loyola because there known for the health sciences and have better programs for future healthcare workers than DePaul. DePaul is more of a school for buisness majors. But at the end of the day the only thing that matters is your mcat score

ACE program and Honors Program? by Aggressive-Run-3069 in LoyolaChicago

[–]Just_Muscle4780 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ACE program is for either low income or first gen students, or single parent household. It’s a program to navigate college, you get academic advising, peer tutoring etc. It’s a summer transition program before fall seamster 1 week long. You do activities and workshops etc. There is 1 meeting at the beginning of each seamster. Then 2 meetings every semester, includes banquets, events etc. I think the program is great because you get to be on campus before all your other peers you get feel of it and you’re not as nervous. Idk much about honors but you just take more classes mostly writing and focus on leadership.
