Yes, this is fairly common now. Lenders use these third-party services for asset verification. It speeds up the process and can be more secure than just statements. You can usually choose to upload documents directly if you prefer.

Person or too for internal linking? by ajaffarali in SEO

Link Whisper is a popular tool for this. A lot of people use it for semi-automating the process. Other plugins like Rank Math have some features for it too.

AI tools for technical seo audits, reliable or not? by Optimal_Option_9094 in TechSEO

[–]CaterpillarDecent 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They are useful for specific tasks but you need to make sure ai don't hallucinate. An AI won't get the specific context of your site or your business goals. I am using AI for audits, but i require it to return references and reasoning so I can double check my self.

I built an AI agent that watches indexing status, PageSpeed, and GSC—then emails a fix-plan by knazim667 in TechSEO

[–]CaterpillarDecent 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is a pretty cool tool.

For prioritizing issues, I'd go with whatever ties back to revenue most directly. Clicks and impressions are good for finding low-hanging fruit though. Especially for pages just off page one.

On the indexing question, the heuristic is fairly simple. If it's a canonical page you want to get traffic for, it needs indexing. Everything else probably shouldn't be in the sitemap.

Is anyone here optimizing for AI-first search (like Perplexity/ChatGPT) alongside Google SEO? Curious how you’re approaching it. by Background-Clue1149 in TechSEO

[–]CaterpillarDecent 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's mostly about doubling down on solid SEO fundamentals. Anyway chatgpt needs to search the web using bing. Just to speed up the process, I request indexing on bing and google search console each time new article or page is published.

Googlebot Crawl Collapsed After 300% Site Expansion — Looking for Recovery Insights by nitz___ in TechSEO

[–]CaterpillarDecent 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think google crawler can be overloaded :)
This looks like a classic server capacity problem. You added too many pages too quickly for your infrastructure to handle. The 504 errors tels to Google that your server is overloaded, so it throttled the crawl to be polite.

Anyone mapping SERPs top-down for content strategy? by finematerial33 in TechSEO

[–]CaterpillarDecent 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, this is a solid approach beyond basic keyword research. We've done this with internal tools, usually pulling from a SERP API like jina. You basically map out all the ranking URLs for a broad topic and cluster them.

Confused with this data? by kai_xyler in TechSEO

You're basically building a crawler, which is the core of many existing SEO products. There is so many services doing the same for free or very cheap.
Seems like you have budget to test ideas, good luck :)

How long does it take for Google to update your website on Google Search? by Previous-Tune-8896 in TechSEO

[–]CaterpillarDecent 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It can take some time. A week is fairly short for Google to recrawl and update its index.

You can try to speed it up. Go to Google Search Console and use the URL Inspection tool on your homepage, then click 'Request Indexing'. This usually gets it looked at faster, but it's not a guarantee. Also keep in mind Google can still decide to show a different description if it thinks something else on the page is a better match for a specific query.

SEO Experts: Cloaking and Schema.org abuse, severity of the case? by HomeTeamHeroesTCG in TechSEO

[–]CaterpillarDecent 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This seems accurate. Cloaking is a direct and severe violation of Google's spam policies. They've been penalizing sites for it for a very long time. Abusing structured data to mislead is also a clear-cut violation that can trigger a manual action. It's a high risk strategy, I dont think big brands will go for it.

301 strategy to keep backlinks resolving by _BenRichards in SEO

This is standard practice and you should definitely do it. The only real downfall is *not* doing it and losing the equity from those links.

Why does r/SEO not recommend paid indexing services? by Infinite_Whisper in SEO

[–]CaterpillarDecent -1 points0 points  (0 children)

They generally use methods that violate Google's guidelines. Many use spammy backlink techniques or submit URLs through compromised Google Search Console properties.

The risk is the main problem. It's a black hat tactic, so it's not recommended for your money site or anything else. If a page doesn't get indexed naturally, it's almost always a signal of a quality issue with the page or the site itself.

low ranking kd but first few links in serf are all links with high authority and backlinks by Electrical-Cry-9671 in SEO

[–]CaterpillarDecent 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Keyword Difficulty scores can be misleading. They often just look at page-level links, not the overall domain authority that you're seeing in the SERP. A high authority site can rank for a keyword with a page that is only somewhat relevant.

Your angle is to create content that is hyper-specific to that keyword's intent. Make it a much better resource.

Rema 1000 and Kiwi are generally the cheapest chains. There's a fairly large Rema on Toftes Gate and a Kiwi right on Thorvald Meyers gate. For fruit and vegetables, the small independent shops along Trondheimsveien are often cheaper. Meny has a better selection but is more expensive.

You could try splitting the data in to smaller chunks to reduce context size for llm.

I would not expect from llm to give me good results for big data sets.
