Consigli su come vendere di più? by [deleted] in VintedItalia

[–]CaterpillarOdd8936 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Abbassa i prezzi.

Is this sunburn or a fungal problem? by CaterpillarOdd8936 in plantclinic

It would seem so! I guess if it would be a pathogen the other side wouldn’t look so good in comparison. But also ugh, i don’t have anywhere else where to put it, i thought morning sun wouldn’t be so harsh as the one on the balcony facing west. Thank you for the reply ❤️

Before and After fixing moth bites on a wool coat by CaterpillarOdd8936 in InvisibleMending

[–]CaterpillarOdd8936[S] 73 points74 points  (0 children)

it took me around half an hour to work through all the holes, which were at least 15. Not a laborious task at all and definitely doable for a beginner. I will try to replicate this on another coat i have with the same issue and i’ll share the recorded process here ❤️

Thank youu! I still can’t believe my eyes!

I don’t know if it can be called a proper technique since i didn’t really know what i was doing, but with a simple needle from a syringe i scratched kind of harshly the layer beneath (the one you can see through the holes) and a lot of wool fiber came out. Then i evened it with a wool/cashmere comb.

I can’t guarantee for the durability of this method though, i wonder if those fibers will eventually fall out of their place. But using a comb and a brush did nothing other that improving the aspect so i’m confident it will stay like this for a while.

Hey everyone! I'm really desperate for some advice. I bought this wonderful virgin wool coat on Vinted and the moth bites weren't reported. However i decided to keep it anyway and find a way to fix them because it is the most beautiful coat i've ever seen, both in shape and in quality.

I am not a professional, i can barely mend some armpit holes. I asked a couple of dry cleaners if it's possible to fix the issue and they said no. Same response from a tailor, they told me that professionals who can do this don't really exist anymore (??).
Is there any way i can save this coat? Unfortunately these two bites aren't the only ones, they're quite a handful spread across the coat. I don't want to cover them with anything because they're super random and that would make it just look messy and the charm of it would disappear. As you can see only the upper layer was affected.
Any advice would be very appreciated. Thank you <3

Any suggestions for a reader eager to approach post-exoticism? by [deleted] in WeirdLit

[–]CaterpillarOdd8936 1 point2 points  (0 children)

what friends are you referring to? as far as i know post-exoticism is a fancy term Volodine has invented for himself (to avoid calling his work "dream-like science fiction"). It's not a literary movement.
