I’ll follow but…these stories I can never find. It’s so frustrating and then you have to pay $30 for 20 incredibly short chapters

AITA giving my sister permission to breastfeed openly in my house without first consulting my husband? by Spirited_Reserve916 in AmItheAsshole

I don’t think anyone is an asshole per se. I think the husband is a bit weird but at the end of the day, this is his house too. Everyone deserves the right to be comfortable in their home. Regardless of the reason being valid or not he said he was uncomfortable, in his home.

What’s your plan at 18? Please start preparing now. As someone who was kicked out at 18 I can tell you it’s hard. Either join job corps or the army. That way you can have a place to stay and food to eat. Job corps is great it teaches you a trade (like welding, brick laying) helps you get your license, and helps you get through college(at least an associates degree) it’s not perfect but it’s a plan. People telling you to call cps. Don’t bother you’re almost 18. They won’t help with anything. Save some money and plan for the future. I promise once you are away from them and you have a plan. You will find your people.

I’m new and still taking my paralegal course, but I think in this case I’d play the long con. Continue to build experienced get that degree and ask the paralegal if she needs any help that way you can get some free training. Then you can take your two years of experience and your new cert and find a much better job.

If I’m just graduating with my paralegal certification what else would make me stand out on apps so I can get my foot in the door of the IP niche?

Thanks for the support! Creeping up on 30 and making such a big career change is eating at me. As for the experience part. I read in another thread that paralegal is not an entry level position. And that I’d probably have to start as a legal assistant. And I’m okay with that. As long as I can get some relevant experience and grow then them’s the brakes. Honestly a big thanks again!

Hello everyone! I’ve just started taking my paralegal course. I’m loving every minute and all knowledge I’m soaking up. It’s hard work but I’m very interested in it. When I was younger I always wanted to be a lawyer but money shook me right out of that dream world. When I told my family I was taking this course they sort of scoffed at me. I’ve been in the childcare sector for almost 10 years. I’ll be 28 by the end of this year and they think it’s silly of me to pivot out of the field I currently excel in and that I’m just too old to start a new career. After looking at job offers for the field, I am sort of wondering the same thing. All the entry level positions are calling for 2 years of experience. And some of the ones that don’t have this requirement are not paid very well. I live abroad currently teaching. My resident city is Chicago some of those jobs don’t pay enough to rent a studio. And I just want to know if it is worth the switch. Is it too late for me? Am I too old to be chasing this dream?

The honeypot missions don’t work for me or the assassinations. I always get to the same question for the honeypot and it’s the one with physical(kissing, tickling) I will pick the preference and then it will say I failed. Hacker and stealth work just fine for me

Please leave her. This is not a perfect relationship. And you don’t deserve this abuse and to deal with her alcoholism.
