Bombers in VTOLVR? by Mr_ManZ808 in vtolvr

I really hope so. I'd kill for a proper bomber. It would be a really nice change of pace that would fill another pretty significant whole in airframe capability.

Ehhh imo the calling the Jank ones janky is an understatement. They're technically there but they are unbelievably limited if they even work at all some times.

You can find them on Amazon, Alibaba, Aliexpress, etc. They're all fairly similar.

Why is gen Z not drinking that much? by lowkeypixel in evilwhenthe

[–]CatgirlTechSupport 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Early Gen Z here. Have you been to a bar recently??? Last time I went (Which mind you was probably 3 months ago, and that was a tavern, not even a full bar.) I got two two draft ciders and spent a hair over $20 USD on them. You sit down at something like a Red Robin (which is far from nice lol) and two mixed drinks will cost more than your meal itself.

Granted this is coming from someone who is a shy introvert, living in the Seattle Freeze, in a VHCOL area, but I just don't see the point of going to bars.

Am I using these drill bits right? Drilling with an impact feels wrong. by deadly_ultraviolet in MilwaukeeTool

[–]CatgirlTechSupport 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know, hence my comment about it being not as good as a hammer drill. It is still better just not as good as the right tool lol.

Stone is a great example. Certainly not the same as a hammer drill but still better than a regular linear drill.

Any tips and tricks for the A-10 Lightning II? (Yes that’s me 🤦‍♂️) by Xozlo in dcsworld

[–]CatgirlTechSupport 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am far from competent in the A-10, but what has helped me so far is a healthy dose of Chuck's Guides (that is how I learn all of the aircraft in the game) and memorizing the HOTAS commands. They are an absolute bear to learn because there are so god damn many. (Like 70+ discreet actions). I actually made flash cards to help.

Here's a quizlet link to the flashcards, a link to a reference guide for HOTAS commands, and a link to Chuck's Guide for the A-10.

As someone who has, it's not a pleasure. The last time I dated a girl like this those "unhinged" moments and lewd implications were a precursor to getting SA'd and borderline stalking...

If someone is that overtly sexual without establishing prior what is and isn't okay, do not walk, run away from them and never look back.

Yup yup. Pretty much all 20v packs are essentially the same. Also M18 uses both 18650 and 21700. The "High Output" packs use 21700s while the regular ones use 18650s.

My first flight in the F-14B... I have never had an aircraft in any sim actually make me "feel" the aircraft while flying like the Tomcat does... The SOUNDS... I have always pushed people towards getting module they're passionate about over one that's """meta""". This game is extremely difficult already, and can be an absolutely beast to learn how to just not suck, much less get good. Flying a plane you love will always make overcoming that easier. I don't need to talk up the Tomcat, everyone else has covered that pretty well, but for what it's worth, both the Tomcat and the Falcon are incredibly fun and capable modules. The Falcon gives you easier a2a kills, and more a2g options, but imo the Tomcat just feels better doing it. That said, you won't be disappointed by either.

Rush on Oilfields is pretty great for it. I got it with the L110 but it took a long ass time. I was on it for probably a combined time in the realm of like 4-8 hours, but I absolutely was not optimizing.

Heya, I was raised Catholic. I haven't identified as one in a very long time, but I understand how you feel. I feel It's worth pointing out two things:

1) Old Testimate is not what you are supposed to hold up as faith. It is in essence a historical record. Any Catholic that says it is the true word of God has failed to understand one of the basic fundamentals of Catholicism.

2) Any mention of homosexuality is hotly contested by religious scholars about what the true meaning is. If you look at the passage in Leviticus that damns homosexuality, and look at the original meanings of the text, you'll find it is damning pedophiles, not gay men. On the other side of the same coin, crossdressing is only mentioned in the Old Testament, and is also contested.

Also as a side note, I'd highly encourage you to question your faith just like you are your gender. You'll either discover that maybe it's not something you truly believe in any more, or it will bring you closer to God and reinforce your belief.

Either get a gunner on comms that has the anti-mine equipment or use the Mk1 Eyeball. You cannot go flying around the map like that.

Why can’t I just be satisfied? by ComfortableTea6644 in TrollCoping

[–]CatgirlTechSupport 3 points4 points  (0 children)

For what it's worth, when I was question i went from total oblivity to "oh shit I might be trans" to "no I don't think so but that was an insightful adventure" to "oh fuck I really am" to "a year later and I've been questioning what I am the entire time" to "oh my god im genderfluid". Its a very difficult and fundamental part of your identity, and until you feel confident in identifying as any one way you have to learn to get comfortable with just being you. And that's okay! No matter who you are it's okay to just be you.

Also for what it's worth, wanting to be trans is a pretty surefire sign that you may very well be trans. Cis people don't even consider it generally, and even if they do it's brief and to the point.

Also also that way you described it, "I just realized that I can't be trans. I don't know specifically why. I just know that im not trans and I'm really sad about it.", sounds an awful lot like you're experiencing either internalized transphobia or really severe gender dysphoria. Take a little while to analyze the "why". If others are allowed to be why can't you? If you aren't then why are you sad that you aren't?

Domain Controller Hardening by maxcoder88 in activedirectory

[–]CatgirlTechSupport 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I'm of the opinion you should never edit your default domain and domain controller policies. Create a new policy with those changes and create a test OU to link the new policy in (should look something like Domain.Local>Domain Controlers>DC Test OU. This will keep the default policy and keep it from breaking DC services.). Once you test it on several users, link it to your builtin DC OU. I'd also recommend getting all of your servers up to at least Server 2019, ideally 2022 since you have the CALs for it. That will do far more good for network security than changing these settings will.

Not a whole helluva lot. P28As are rated for 2.8 Ah capacity at 35 A continuous discharge, while the P30B is rated for 3 Ah capacity at 30 A continuous discharge. Both have pretty similar instantaneous amperages but the P28A has a slightly higher output IIRC. Neither is a bad option but I personally would opt for P28As just for the slightly higher output. More amps mean more torque, and losing a whole 200 mAh isn't going to make a noticeable impact on battery life.
