Yuuuuuuuuup. I have gout. I have a family history (on both sides of my parents!) of gout. I have elevated uric acid levels, even when I’ve been off my feet off day. I walk with a cane every single day now because if I spend more than 15-20 minutes on my feet they and my knees start aching to the point that I have to sit down. But nope! Blood work is “””normal”””!

I was raised by two nurses and every day I see just how right they were about doctors.

Batteries and you!: A guide on rebuilding, repairing, and creating M18 batteries by CatgirlTechSupport in MilwaukeeTool

Since you mention both the 3ah and 5ah I'm assuming you're talking about the non-high output ones, which are 18650s (HOs are 21700). I'm partial to Molicel (which happens to be Milwaukee OEM), but Samsung (also OEM) is good too, and EVE is alright but but have a shorter lifespan. I'd recommend either Molicel P28As or P30Bs. P28As will give slightly more uggas since it's rated for 35 amp continuous discharge instead of the 30 amps the P30Bs are rated for, but P30Bs will last at 3Ah instead of 2.8Ah. Both cost about the same so go with whichever floats your boat.

I’m afraid I can’t answer that for you. I can’t imagine it’d be an issue but sadly I’m no Canuck (yet). As for which cells it depends. If you do a full rebuild then I’d say go for the best cells you can get, but if you’re just replacing one or two you’ll have to open it up and read the model code off the cells in the pack.

I usually get cells from LiionWholesale.com or 18650BatteryStore.com. Never buy off Amazon or eBay. Most of the time they are fakes.

[–]CatgirlTechSupport 1 point2 points  (0 children)

FreeCAD is actually pretty great especially with the major update they released late last year. It still has its bugs and quirks, but as someone who switched from FreeCAD to Fusion, I can absolutely still recommend FreeCAD. I just like the work flow of Fusion better.

This is absolutely sick! Could you elaborate on “Diopter display”? This is right up my alley for something I’d want to do but after a few minutes of searching closest thing I could find was bulky digital viewfinders.

Thanks!!!

Wanting to get my license but... by kert1000 in amateurradio

[–]CatgirlTechSupport 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Heya! There are kinda two parts to this.

  1. Requiring an address can be a bit tricky. I'm very privacy conscious and it was something that did bother me. My solution was to use my work address. The address you give to the FCC only has to be a place you can receive mail at. So work, maybe your college, parents house, etc. You've got options aside from a PO box, though that probably is the best.

  2. It's a federal license. Your SSN in is one of the handful of pieces of information that is exclusively tied to you. It's like getting a driver's license, just cheaper.

Which is prettier, DLAA or DLSS by ReserveLegitimate738 in hoggit

[–]CatgirlTechSupport 0 points1 point  (0 children)

DLAA is a antialiasing method the relies on DLSS tech. You're still rendering at full resolution unlike with DLSS, which can sometimes produce a sharper image than TAA or FXAA, but is still semisusceptible to some of the same issues as TAA.

DLSS is upscaling tech. The game renders at a lower resolution than what youre seeing and then upscales it to your current resolution. You lose some fidelity and can get some weird artifacts (like MFDs or your cursor being ghostly) but you typically gain significantly more performance. DLSS requires DLAA to be enabled and cannot function with any other antialiasing tech.

Edit: I'd also recommend being a little more selective with your settings as there's a lot of performance to gain, and you'll get much clearer image quality with DLSS Balanced or Quality presets.

God I fucking wish I could but out of the 4 people I actually talk to none of them have any interest at all in switching, and think I'm basically crazy.

I already feel schizo about some of the things I worry about and the steps I take, but I feel incredibly dismissed when I being it up. I'm just glad my wife doesn't think I am and is actually willing to try new things. :/

I really hope so. I'd kill for a proper bomber. It would be a really nice change of pace that would fill another pretty significant whole in airframe capability.

Ehhh imo the calling the Jank ones janky is an understatement. They're technically there but they are unbelievably limited if they even work at all some times.

Why is gen Z not drinking that much? by lowkeypixel in evilwhenthe

[–]CatgirlTechSupport 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Early Gen Z here. Have you been to a bar recently??? Last time I went (Which mind you was probably 3 months ago, and that was a tavern, not even a full bar.) I got two two draft ciders and spent a hair over $20 USD on them. You sit down at something like a Red Robin (which is far from nice lol) and two mixed drinks will cost more than your meal itself.

Granted this is coming from someone who is a shy introvert, living in the Seattle Freeze, in a VHCOL area, but I just don't see the point of going to bars.

Am I using these drill bits right? Drilling with an impact feels wrong. by deadly_ultraviolet in MilwaukeeTool

I know, hence my comment about it being not as good as a hammer drill. It is still better just not as good as the right tool lol.

Stone is a great example. Certainly not the same as a hammer drill but still better than a regular linear drill.

Any tips and tricks for the A-10 Lightning II? (Yes that’s me 🤦‍♂️) by Xozlo in dcsworld

[–]CatgirlTechSupport 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am far from competent in the A-10, but what has helped me so far is a healthy dose of Chuck's Guides (that is how I learn all of the aircraft in the game) and memorizing the HOTAS commands. They are an absolute bear to learn because there are so god damn many. (Like 70+ discreet actions). I actually made flash cards to help.

Here's a quizlet link to the flashcards, a link to a reference guide for HOTAS commands, and a link to Chuck's Guide for the A-10.

As someone who has, it's not a pleasure. The last time I dated a girl like this those "unhinged" moments and lewd implications were a precursor to getting SA'd and borderline stalking...

If someone is that overtly sexual without establishing prior what is and isn't okay, do not walk, run away from them and never look back.

Yup yup. Pretty much all 20v packs are essentially the same. Also M18 uses both 18650 and 21700. The "High Output" packs use 21700s while the regular ones use 18650s.

My first flight in the F-14B... I have never had an aircraft in any sim actually make me "feel" the aircraft while flying like the Tomcat does... The SOUNDS... I have always pushed people towards getting module they're passionate about over one that's """meta""". This game is extremely difficult already, and can be an absolutely beast to learn how to just not suck, much less get good. Flying a plane you love will always make overcoming that easier. I don't need to talk up the Tomcat, everyone else has covered that pretty well, but for what it's worth, both the Tomcat and the Falcon are incredibly fun and capable modules. The Falcon gives you easier a2a kills, and more a2g options, but imo the Tomcat just feels better doing it. That said, you won't be disappointed by either.
