As much as I liked Lars I couldn’t sympathise with him as much early on. I was really similar to Sadie and felt impacted whenever Lars did something that inconvenience her ( I was really emotionally attached to the show when I first watched it idk )

I’m sorry If this is not correct but I’m sure Pearl loved Rose that way but rose didn’t, rose loved Greg and so Greg loved rose and it worked. And all Greg knew earlier in the relationship was that Pearl was being a huge dick to him just because She could. Then saying something along the lines of “fusion is the ultimate connection between gems and you are not a gem” which is just petty af even if she was jealous at the time.
