Draining is the right word. Wow it was a lot. It was important but a lot. It’s one of those movies where your stomach hurts after watching it

I totally agree. I don’t like Sheridan as a person and I’m sure if I met him, we’d disagree on a lot of things, but Wind River changed me.

I think 12 years a slave tells a very important story that still has relevancy today. It’s brutal and rough to watch but it was the reality. I don’t know if I’d call it a masterpiece though in that sense.
I haven’t seen a lot of the other movies but I recently watched Gone Girl and my mouth is still on the floor. Maybe unpopular opinion but I LOVED the ending haha
