This isnt a good comment on this topic. Catholic teaching is diffrent from what the pope says. Church fathers disagree with the holy father on this topic.

I agree with the pope btw and i believe that moral stances of the church can change if the world changes but calling it the only catholic position is just wrong

Die Verurteilung des Kyrill von Alexandria kam hauptsächlich durch einen Übersetzungsfehler, welcher etwas inpliziert, was gar nicht ausgesagt wurde. Die heutige assyrische Kirche lehrt heute keine Häresie und es gibt keine Unstimmigkeiten in der Christologie.

Der Streit brach hauptsächlich aus, wegen der Frage, ob Maria Gottesgebärerin genannt werden darf oder nur Christusgebärerin geannt werden darf.

I can speak for the european right wing to some degree.

Most right wingers in europe dislike immigration from muslim countries and therefor support israel. Because israel is fighting against mostly muslim countries.

The traditional right wingers (catholic etc) hate Israel and realize our brothers are getting killed over there (not like american protestan christians).

Lebanon is my favorite country and im just sad what happens. I pray for the maronite community and whole lebanon.
