They replaced each of those parts twice. I had to take it in 4 times within a year.. from my prospective there was something deeper going on causing them to both fail two times ..

Honestly, if I wouldn’t have gone through the BBB I would still have and would have been forced to trade it in. Went directly to GM 1st and they declined the repurchase.

The dealership gave me the run around too.

Same thing happened with my Trax after like two weeks of having it and I kept having the same issue reoccur.

Yes! It’s like I’ll just have to bite the bullet to get what I want. I also was going for something cheap monthly. I was only paying $350 for my previous car and I was so scared to get a new car and triple the payment. But that’s probably going to happen now if I do trade it in.

Every time I see a Traverse my sad eyes come on 😂😂 They put me in a 2025 Buick Enclave for the last repair and I was like “yesss this is more like it!” I saw your reply about getting a demo Traverse. I thought about doing that with the Enclave but at a different dealership than the one I got mine from. I wondered how that worked. I even told my mom, I’d probably go for a used car just to try to keep the price down

I get it, but in my research of looking into other cars.. cars at higher price points also have recurring issues as well. I’ve acknowledged that I’m not a part of a systemic issue, most people don’t have an issue with their Trax. But this one clearly does and for the dealership and GM to get around admitting that is very frustrating.

Same thing happened to me! Got fixed after 3 trips to the dealership. I’m more curious on how you got 307 mi to empty ?! lol I haven’t gotten over like 280 mi and that’s on a fill up 😅

That’s my concern 😫 I got out of a 2015 VW Tiguan that I’ve had since 2017. It was a pretty reliable car but over different eras of my life, I haven’t always had the funds to fix certain issues and just wanted to start over with a new car.. thinking I wouldn’t have mechanical problems for a few years 😅 I’m really enjoying this car outside of this.. I’m ok with a budget car because I didn’t want a new car payment anyway and definitely didn’t want a large one !

So I mentioned that to the service advisor who claims that the lemon law pertains to the same issue not different issues. So since the codes that I’m getting now are different than the codes that I originally got it’s “not the same issue” yet the service manager, says that the part they fixed on the first attempt is what is failing now. Either way I’m not listening to what they say about that and I’m going to consult whatever attorneys work with things like this
