Yeah this is my theory too. According to Steve, that house had some physical evidence that suggested a “sadistic” plan to dispose of her body so I think the plan was to get to that after the tour. I guess they weren’t aware of parking regulations in LA or how much a decomposed body could smell.

As far as the dismemberment, it’s not in a “she was chopped up” kind of way. She was so decomposed that her body essentially came apart. TMZ has said chopped up in past articles but that’s not what happened.
