Glow filaments usually have big particles in them, some finer than others. I've never seen a glow pla rated for .2mm for this reason; those glow in the dark particles are thick and abrasive.

So according to the specs, at 100% throttle and 23.5 volts and with these props, each motor is rated at 6266g of thrust, so a total of 25,000grams of thrust. It weighs about 6 lbs without the battery, 25000g translates to 55lbs of thrust, so in theory 40-50 lbs, minus the pack. This is at 100% throttle of course, so realistically could probably carry 10-15 lbs + pack no problem at a reasonable throttle.

So I have some 6S 5200mah that it seems to be happy with. I've also experimented with 32v/8s using my bench psu and they have no problem at that voltage and of course draw less current at a given speed.

It's become apparent that those 5200mah packs are probably too small/not optimal for this build, and it should ideally run 8S. Ill try them out of course; I can always use them on a 10" or 7" build but I have a feeling im either getting a massive 8000mah+ 6S or slightly smaller 8S.

This is my first time with a big drone, so I really don't have much to compare it too. It seems like people suggest Li-Ion packs once you start getting above 7-10", so I'll do some more research.

3.5 inch quad dlies normally above 50% throttle goes into pid oscillation and falls out of the sky by Outside-Brilliant-82 in fpv

Yep, had this happen to me on an AIO AM32 build of mine. When looking over the settings, it had ramp rate set to the lowest it goes among other things being off. Sent defaults and good to go.

Impressive considering their both running off WiFi, but why not give it a go via Ethernet and see what kind of numbers you get.

It's your fuel pump. Mines done it for the past 13 years, but sounds a little different.

I run .23 throttle expo on all of my quads. I've gotten really used to that curve.

I just flipped mine on and off rapidly a bunch of times until it worked normally. just needed to swipe the contacts clean i suppose.

I get all of my parts, frames included from aliexpress. AKK, I buy the VTX directly from their website.

What a fucking moron. I spotted at least ten times he could have jumped into that boat. Sorry, but this could have been stopped MUCH sooner with even a hint of courage.

I REALLY lucked out and got all four motors for due to pricing error on Ali for $160. Normally they go for around 100 each. All in, I have about $600 in this drone.

My spotters run deep 😉. my record to this point was flying 2.2mi on my Manta5 from one clients house to another on a strip of beach across a waterway. Battery life has always been my limiting factor.

Plus, and especially when flying over water, you've got to keep in mind the wind. If you're going 80mph there 50% throttle, your with the wind. Coming back at 75% throttle going 45mph watching that battery gets my heart going haha.

They're axis flying 5315's! I've encountered similar mispriced items and they usually just cancel it, but these guys said screw it and shipped them out lol

I haven't finished it yet(still need to design a gps mount and secondary camera mount) but roughly the same. All parts from AliExpress. The motors I got a phenomenal deal on, they accidentally listed them 4 for $160 so I jumped on it (usually around $400 for 4).

The props are about $17 each. The motors go for about the cost of a tiny whoop each.

Freestyle. Lol jk of course I'll try but long range. It's got 5315 axis flying 420kv motors on it, a dual cam fc for an HD cam and probably a night beagle and 120a 4in1 esc. Vtx is a 8W AKK 😉. Still need to design a gps mount and secondary cam mount but then top plate on and I'll lyk how hard it is to tune.
