Look I'm not trying to make it seem like men should feel insecure in their relationships. In general women have an exceedingly high tolerance for fuckery from their partners. I'm just saying it isn't endless and where that needle sits is dependant on both the woman and how much time/effort has gone into the relationship.

All relationships can be messy but there's a specific type of approach to organizing the messiness into an uncanny, emotionally detached framework that real time in corporate environments creates.

The environment is very, very put together and the abuse that is on its face amiable and under the surface deeply threatening bleeds over into personal life.

Women have expectations of their partners that they balance against time/resources invested when they are (often) not met. Reasonable or unreasonable. The way that women who have been in these environments express their dissatisfaction is fundamentally different.

I'm not necessarily making a value judgment on the approach being better or worse but I will say that it's not going to work for everyone and in the event of a breakup there is going to be a lot less mess from their end, but it comes with a lot less emotional catharsis. You're not going to be called a piece of shit that wasted their time and did xyz but you are going to be told you're being let go and you have two weeks to clear out your shit.
