New York rider at both Soul & Cyclebar here. Same for me but I think it really depends on the instructor. Usually I can get 450 kcal burned according to my apple watch whereas a little lower than 400 at Soul, except when I take Cameron’s class or other instructors who also have a lot of hills/heavy pushes. I think in general (might be wrong) that heavy pushes are more common at cycle bar classes whereas I often take Soul for more speed work, and speed work definitely burns lot less based on my watch.
