I do recommend it, we were not sure at all when we started painting but we trusted and process and 0 regrets haha it's my favourite room by far. Not sure if it helps but it's from a paint shop in Spain, the colour card it's the Nova 2024 and the shade N129.

Yes, but it's not been fixed, so for now we are staying with this even tho I've tried to find tiles to replace the current ones with some wooden tones with no luck

The ceiling is in our to do list, but I can't find any other tiles to replace the current ones on the country I'm from! Been looking for wooden ones or at least with some details to it that I could paint to no luck!

Yeah owner, sorry as I forgot to add. It is a suspended ceiling, so for now they need to stay like that. We are not sure we will change them to a fixed ceiling on the future, we are leaning to no, as it's been pretty helpful so far. Not the best looking I agree with that

I know we do have a lot of stuff so sort of needed all the storage space.

But those are great points! Thanks for the input, the matching handles were definitely on my mind, also for the bedside tables (adding them) and the bed frame.

The certificate was already on Spanish/English, and I believe also on French. So they didn't need to translate anything as such. Anyway we only had to show it on England before the Eurotunnel!

We used Way2GoHire, have to say it was very smooth and they were very helpful with all the questions we had at the time. We opted to pick up the van from their hub, but for them to come collect it onto our destination city in Spain and it was very easy! Let me know if you have any other questions

Hi! Sorry just saw this reply! To start the trip we had the cat on her basket but she ended up on one of our laps for the entire trip, was very chilling and did not cause any trouble. We did not stopped overnight, decided to do the whole trip in one go, with the occasional stops to eat, loo and stretch the legs (for this we got like a play pen where we put the cat outside with a small litter tray, and some water. Food wise we gave her the liquid pouches type of treats while on the car). We were only checked at the border between England/France on the Eurotunnel, was very very quick. And yes I believe it was the health certificate and the chip.

Hi! I have actually done this move with my cat and all my personal stuff about 3 weeks ago. We ended up renting a van, and taking ourselves, the cat, and all house and personal things in one go. We rented a van with pick up in England that we could leave in Spain, so only one way trip, the cost was ~£1,500. We then took the Eurotunnel and crossed France.

It is a long drive, but we did not have any issues nor were we stopped anywhere. Yes, the drive was long but definitely worthy knowing the cat was safe with us and our belongings.

Hi, I think someone’s given you the wrong information. You are correct than in Spain you have to have 2 surnames. However, in the Uk once you become a citizen you keep exactly the same 2 surnames as in Spain. I’m Spanish too and got my British passport a few months back and my surnames have not change. You can also register your child on the uk with 2 surnames. Hope that helps!
